Student Chapters
The Greater San Antonio Builders Association (GSABA) & the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) Student Chapter Program enhances students' educational experience in the home building industry through membership, educational programs, and networking. It offers practical skills, industry insights, and networking opportunities with peers and professionals. The program focuses on workforce development by bridging education and employment through internships, job fairs, and networking. Its goal is to inspire and prepare students for successful careers in home building.
If you are looking for a great way to get involved in your Association, sign up to be one of the mentors, speak at a chapter meeting or sponsor an event for one of Student Chapters!

Student Spotlight: Elizabeth Lopez

The Greater San Antonio Education Foundation is proud to spotlight Elizabeth Lopez, recipient of a $2,000 GSAEF Scholarship. Elizabeth is pursuing her degree in Construction Technology at St. Philip’s College, with plans to graduate in December 2025 and become a Project Manager in residential construction.
Her path into the industry began in 2017, when she took over a residential foundation-setting business, managing three subdivisions and leading a team of 15 employees. Today, she continues to demonstrate resilience, leadership, and a passion for building the future of homebuilding.
Congratulations, Elizabeth — we’re honored to support your journey!
We love celebrating the success of our NAHB Student Chapter members! If you, your student, or someone you know would like to be featured in our Student Spotlight — showcased on our website, magazine, and social media — let us know.
