Founded in 2012, Pencsak Builders brings a wealth of experience to custom home construction. David, with 30 years in the restaurant industry, and Angela, a San Antonio native, with 20 years as a professional master photographer, combine their entrepreneurial expertise to form a dynamic team in the custom home building business.

Our philosophy emphasizes constructing high-quality homes using the latest building science methods. We are committed to incorporating cutting-edge technology and ensuring our homes are built with care and integrity.

We take a comprehensive approach to design, starting from the lot purchase (with Angela's expertise as a Realtor) and guiding our clients through the entire design process. This collaborative effort with designers and architects ensures a seamless and successful experience for our clients.

About the Builder

Pencsak Builders, owned and operated by David and Angela Pencsak, brings a blend of building science, craftsmanship and artistic vision to the custom home building industry for the past 12 years. David's journey into building began with over 30 years of designing, constructing, and owning successful restaurants, where he honed his passion for creating spaces. Angela, the head interior designer, infuses each project with her unique artistic touch, working closely with clients to ensure every detail is perfect.

Angela's background as a master photographer, having owned a professional photography studio in the San Antonio area and being named “San Antonio’s Photographer of the Year” four times, adds a distinct artistic perspective to their designs. This creative flair has become a hallmark of Pencsak Builders, elevating their custom homes to new levels of beauty and functionality. Since 2012, David and Angela have been crafting residential custom homes, earning numerous Summit Awards for their exceptional builds and designs.
Beyond their professional achievements, David and Angela are proud parents to four children and four dogs (two Golden Retrievers, one Labrador, and a rescue). Their three oldest children are recent college graduates from UT, Texas Tech, and Baylor, while their youngest is set to graduate this year from Texas Tech. As busy empty nesters, they manage to juggle their thriving business with the lively company of their fur babies.

The Pencsak family holds a deep respect for the military community. Angela, a military brat from a lineage of veterans, including her Vietnam Veteran father, and David, a Certified VA Builder, are dedicated to supporting military families. They take great pride in building homes for those who serve our country, extending their heartfelt appreciation through their work.
